INTRODUCTION
Stereopticon converts normal IFF pictures into true stereoscopic pictures.
The three-dimensional effect is immediate and convincing and is experienced
by everyone with normal vision.
You view a Stereoptic picture through simple, home-made {[A06,0,7]glasses} with a red
filter for the left eye and a blue filter for the right eye. Similar
glasses were used to view the first 3-D films of the 1950s, beginning with
"Bwana Devil".
Here are some examples: {[P12,4,7] "Falling" } {[P08,4,7] "The Crystal Ball" } {[P09,4,7] "Intro" }
You can make a series of Stereoptic pictures into a stereoscopic {[A13,0,7]animation}.
Programmers can grab parts of Stereoptic pictures as stereoscopic bobs and
use them in {[A14,0,7]games} with Stereoptic backgrounds. Color printouts of Stereoptic
images, if properly color balanced, will retain the stereoscopic effect.
True stereoscopy is an unexplored field on the Amiga. Stereopticon gives
you the creative tools for becoming a stereoscopic pioneer.
Stereopticon now includes...
* An {[A08,0,7]Image Converter} for converting most standard Iff pictures into
pictures ready for Stereoptic processing.
* {[A12,0,7]High Resolution Mode}.
* An {[A13,0,7]Animation Script Mode} for processing simple animations in a single
batch.
* Low-cost {[A16,0,7]User Support}.
* The {[A10,0,7]Double Button} for making even deeper stereoscopic pictures.
